This can help kill the Guild Lord using a wave of high DoT spells to work alongside another assassin's dps output. It's hex heavy so soul barbs will rock along with Rend to force enemies to place enchants on him [which triggers soul barbs]
Basic strat is simple. This is definitely a Warrior killer but aimed at killing the Guild Lord. Soul Barbs right after a Rend, then just bury him in hexes. Kinda simple but it's good like that. Your thoughts?
Dot is better for units with smaller health. A guild lord has what...2500~ life? It won't scratch him. Better to drop them.
A guild lord gank build has been tried before by sow in the betas using grenths balance to knock his health off a ton (before it got nerfed); I don't know if it's running rampant in gvg or not cause I don't have a guild right now though.
I've heard stuff about hexes triggering twice as fast or something on the GL which would make WW/SB a pretty strong combo to gank it. For an assassin team build you'll want to have a decoy force to occupy the main team around the flag as long as possible, so a fertile season/muddy terrain would help delay them. The assassin team should be able to sustain itself from the arcanists/archers too...healing seed or heal area would be options here on one character. The rest of the setup should be for max dps. A sword warrior is useful here because FT will be triggering constantly. Grenths balance is still decent I think so all 2-3 assassins should have it as well as any other good spike skills.
good call. btw, if u look closely, the empathy, spiteful spirit, and Insidious parasite should chunk off a guarunteed 50+ dmg with each guild lord attack... I think... ^_^
